   I am using Idea prepaid number 8888387138 since last 4 month. Whenever I try to register with Idea website, it says invalid number, I am not able to see even the balance whenever I dial *212#, it says bad request.

    I advise all not to get any ideas by seeing IDEA’s ads or going by the corporate name of Aditya Birla. IDEA’s services are no better than reliance (excess deductions, activation of services without request) and their customer service is significantly worse than others. In my case, I got a new pre-paid connection, and they kept charging me varying rates on per minute basis, even though I had charged with a per second billing. Further 3G services were started without my request. Calls to customer service cost me STD charges(as I was out of state and IDEA AP said they could’nt see other states’ customers accounts, despite instructions on IVR), and upon return, the customer service keeps arguing, and says they cant do anything. The wrong billing continues.

    IDEA’s inferior services have cost me more than Rs 200 in 6 months, and I will be opting out of IDEA soon after Diwali, since this number is with all my contacts.

    i agree with manoj khare, i have been using idea for just about 10 days and i am already regretting buying this sim. i a in mumbai region, and they took about 4 days to activate my sim, plus the service is terrible. u never know when they will feel like a deduction in your acciunt. since i have to stay here for 5 months, i will have to manage somehow, but i genuinely ask all of you to refrain from buying this connection. IDEA simply sucks.
