The second edition of the Sunfeast 10K Bangalore, claimed to be the richest 10k run in the world, will be held in the city on 31st May. At a glittering ceremony to announce the launch of the second edition here on Wednesday, actor and brand ambassador for the event Deepika Padukone, unveiled the poster of the marathon.

The run is scheduled to commence at 6.45 a.m. on 31st May and the event will have six races — World 10K, Nation’s Challenge 10K, Open 10K, Majja Run 10K, Sr. Citizens’ Run 4K and Wheelchair Event 4K – and a large number of participants are expected take part in the event, according to the organisers. The money generated from the event would be donated to Bangalore Care, a non-governmental organisation, said Chitaranjan Dar, Divisional Chief Operating Executive of ITC.
