Sunfeast 10K Marathon
The second edition of the Sunfeast 10K Bangalore, claimed to be the richest 10k run in the world, will be held in the city on 31st May. At a glittering ceremony to announce the launch of the second edition here on Wednesday, actor and brand ambassador for the event Deepika Padukone, unveiled the poster of the marathon.

The run is scheduled to commence at 6.45 a.m. on 31st May and the event will have six races — World 10K, Nation’s Challenge 10K, Open 10K, Majja Run 10K, Sr. Citizens’ Run 4K and Wheelchair Event 4K – and a large number of participants are expected take part in the event, according to the organisers. The money generated from the event would be donated to Bangalore Care, a non-governmental organisation, said Chitaranjan Dar, Divisional Chief Operating Executive of ITC. After the launch, singer Shivani Kashyap sang ‘Jai Ho’, the popular song from Slumdog Millionaire. The online registration for various races is open and entry forms will be available at the

there is a huge inconveinence caused by your orginisations.
we youngsters had great intrest in running the marathon but you people cause great threat to us by not giving the required information … we were not informed of the marathon by any media . and i got to know about it 3 days back and when i tried to register myself for the run , it says the registrations are closed . please see through it that this does not continue in the future . this is only a suggestion and a comment ……
